Morgan and Colin’s love story began during their senior year of college, she a student at Saint Mary’s College, and he at the University of Notre Dame.  Upon their engagement, it was all but a foregone conclusion that they would marry at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, on Notre Dame’s campus. They wanted a wedding that was formal, traditional and classically elegant that included many meaningful details. Beginning with a color palette of deep emerald, gold, blush and ivory their vision began to take shape, resulting in a celebration that truly reflected their love of family, Notre Dame, and each other.  Their reception was held in the historic Palais Royale in downtown South Bend, IN, beginning with cocktails in the gorgeous lobby of the Morris Performing Arts Center. Among the many details that graced the reception were custom monogrammed guest napkins, peach scented candles as a nod to Morgan’s Atlanta roots, and Colin’s grooms cake which replicated the marquee on the legendary ballpark of the Chicago Cubs in his hometown of Chicago.  The grooms beloved Cubs would go on, a few weeks later, to win the 2016 World Series!   After a night of dining and dancing, a 1950 Studebaker Land Cruiser waited at the corner as guests sent the couple off into their happily ever after with a sparkler farewell.  The evening was capped off with an after party at Rohr’s inside the Morris Inn, back on the campus of Notre Dame.
