Elizabeth and Daniel envisioned their June wedding at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, on the campus of the University of Notre Dame as a soft, romantic summer affair.  The color palette they chose. blush pink, soft gold and ivory was the perfect combination of colors to achieve the feel they wanted. Elizabeth’s favorite flower, the rose, was used throughout the wedding, in tones ranging from barely blush to a soft peachy pink, often accented with gorgeous peony (which lucky for us – was in full bloom!)  and hydrangea.  An array of candlelight helped give the atmosphere a dreamy, intimate feel.  As a nod to the groom’s roots and a beloved Youngstown, OH tradition, a cookie table offered guests sweets and treats, most of them baked and brought to the wedding by family and guests. The day was gorgeously sunny, followed by a warm and balmy summer evening, the sky filled with glittering stars.
