Kevin and Caitlin’s main concern about their December 14, 2019 wedding at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on the campus of the University of Notre Dame was weather. Which is completely understandable given what could happen with weather conditions mid December in northern Indiana.  So while their wedding day was bitterly cold, there was no sign of snow or below zero wind chill to prevent guests from traveling to celebrate with them. Working with a color palette of deep emerald, smokey blue and gold they envisioned a day that was inspired by nature but felt cozy and warm.  Their puppy Beacon made a cameo during their ‘first look’ at the bridge on the campus of Saint Mary’s College, from which, Caitlin had graduated.  Following the ceremony at the Basilica on the Notre Dame campus where Kevin had attended college, guests headed to The Armory, to continue the celebration.
