It’s always a roll of the dice weather wise when planning a wedding in northern Indiana during the month of November. Will there be snow on the ground, will it be rainy, windy and cold, will there be snow? Or maybe, just maybe it will be a gloriously sunny day with mild temps, which is just what the weather decided to give Kate and Alejandro on their wedding day. The trees on the campus of the University of Notre Dame still wore their gorgeous fall colors and the grounds were still lush and green as guests gathered there to celebrate Kate and Alejandro’s big day. The couple decided to host a gathering on Friday evening following their rehearsal at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, at Rohr’s inside the Morris Inn. The Irish pub was the perfect place to kick off the weekend festivities with family and friends. Once the big day finally arrived there was an unmistakable air of joy and anticipation to finally see all of their carefully laid plans unfold. Kate had decided on a color palette using shades of coral and pink with accents of navy and gold. Both she and her groom decided early in the planning they wanted an elegant but understated affair, with hints of glamour splashed throughout. Following the ceremony, the guests were transported to the South Bend Club for dinner and dancing. Kate and Alejandro sat at a sweetheart table for two, beside the beautifully appointed fireplace that chased the November chill away.  As the evening drew to a close – a decadent dessert table was revealed providing a sweet ending to their perfect day.
