Introduced through mutual friends during freshman year at the University of Notre Dame, it wasn’t until their sophomore year that Katie and Elliot started dating. Seven years later, with friends and family in tow, they returned to write the next chapter of their love story by becoming husband and wife. Their overall vision was to have a wedding that felt somewhat formal, but comfortable, with personal details incorporated in. A few of those details included a cookie table, comprised of over 2,000 homemade treats provide by relatives and a calendar for the coming year, where guests were invited to sign their name on their birthday! What a sweet way to remember all those who attended the wedding throughout the first year of their marriage! Katie chose a color palette of navy blue with peachy coral, deep pinks and silver accents. Katie and Elliot’s ultimate goal for their wedding was that everyone have a fun – judging by the constant smiles and laughter that day, I’d say they met and exceeded that goal ten fold.
