Natalie and Eric’s story began while waiting in line at Chipotle. A conversation was struck during which, they discovered that they both lived in the same building, on the same floor just three doors down from each other. Serendipity? I think so! Fast forward five years, after becoming engaged, I was lucky enough to get a phone call that would bring me on board their wedding planning! Living in Chicago, Natalie and Eric were planning to have their wedding at Journeyman Distillery, in Three Oaks, MI. Busy careers and distance put a bit of a strain on the planning process so I was happy to jump in. They had envisioned a day that felt very cozy and romantic, with a color palette featuring mixed metallics, a champagne taupe and creamy whites. With the wedding in January, they wanted to play up the winter feel by incorporating lots of candles, which gave the industrial venue a gorgeous glow.
Working with these two was an absolute joy! They wanted to be fully in the moment as the day progressed, and I can truly say that they absolutely were!
